both good but not that good

UC has a couple great players, and only on his home course (CCL) Chris Salter can ball. It has been a couple yrs since I played with him but last time we did he birdied 5 of the first 6

IF only there was a golf tournament held each year that could settle this...

None of those names...I was a member at UC in college then moved back to North LA

I'm not that good but I'm better than some of those guys!

When were you a member at UC?

I worked out there for the free golf and then became a member when I realized how cheap the rates were at the time. I was out there from 06-09

anyone can play in the BR open and anyone can qualify for the matchplay event. So basically there are two events that could decide who the best player in BR is

I was referring to the LGA Club Team Championship

BTW - I know this is a "BR" thread, but I would take the top 5 from Southern Trace and put them up against just about anybody

Which club in the Baton Rouge area has the best golfers?

I was at Sherwood until it closed and played several city tourneys. It seemed like the sherwood crew had a larger presence in those tourneys than other clubs. I didnt make the move to the island but i think most of the good players did. I guess i would have to say the island is best if you're including it in the GBR area. UC also has lots of good players.

The City Am Championship at SM year before last had something like 5 of the final 8 were from sherwood and maybe 8 of the final 16 if i recall correctly.
