I do not care if Peyton has a wet noodle for an arm, but from what I saw, he was incredible.
He looked just about as good as any other QB in the NFL.

I'd put him somewhere around 8-10, which is obviously good enough. I don't buy this bullshite that he's somehow up there with Brady, Rodgers, etc. because he won the Superbowl. Trent Dilfer proved you don't necessarily have to have a GOOD quarterback to win it all. That being said, he was great last night and I'm happy for Dull Joe.

If you factor in age I think you'd clearly take Flacco before Brees Brady and Peyton.

Flacco may have led his team to a 22 point lead, but he also almost led his team to losing a game after having a 22 point lead. His con list is much longer than those of Brady, Manning, and Brees.

Flacco wasn't playing with a team that had the best defense in NFL history or the best special teams in the league either. This Ravens' defense was above average this year and barely so.
Their offensive line had issues all season long, Smith was still coming into his own, their tight ends didn't strike fear into anyone, and Cameron's playcalling was stale and uninspired for much of the year.

I should have said "better" QB, but Peyton is clearly one of the very best QB's ever. He's also a QB I wouldn't want on my team right now.

No way
Manning will be 37 by opening day and Brady will be 35. Realistically those guys have next year at a top level and then they'll drop noticeably. Flacco is 28 and in his prime.

I agree with your top 7, but I'd rearrange the top 4. Despite being an elite QB and undeniably one of the best in the game, I think Aaron Rodgers is a little overrated. His O-line may be less than perfect, but his WR corps is the best in the game. And, as a personal note, I just don't like him; he shows up his teammates too often on the field IMO.

Brees is not the best in the league by any means. He has had better supporting casts the last two season than the other 3 guys. Rodgers had the worst pass blocking in the year. Statistically, no line was worse at pass protection.
I can't put Ben or Eli ahead of Flacco. Eli has two legit number ones and didn't even put up 4,000 yards this year and has never thrown less than a 10 picks in a season. Ben takes way too long to make a decision with the ball and when he does he makes dumbass throws.
