vs the insane pressures of playing in places like LA/NYC.

A dying narrative, especially after last offseason.

Comical. Durant is starting to realize that the Western Conference is stacked top to bottom. The easiest way to the finals for him is an above average team in the Eastern Conference.

If I'm him I go East. Miami would be awfully tempting. They have a great front office. Spo is actually not a bad coach. Play next to Dragic and Whiteside, Bosh and Wade (if they don't retire) plus Winslow. You get to be in a low pressure setting and live in south Florida. It may sound like copying James. But circumstances are different and it would be his team..

Gotcha. KD's year at texas was my freshman year at TAMU, but my memories are fuzzy and I couldn't remember Aldridge being there or not.

Miami would be suitable however Spo is overrated.

Just throwing this out there even don't I don't believe it will happen: Durant takes a one year max. Lakers draft Brandon Ingram. After next season, Durant and Westbrook both head out to the Lakers.

Boston makes more sense than DC to me.

I know it's in the East, but Wall and Durant isn't better than Westbrook and Durant. Don't really have much else on that roster. Boston has a deeper team and they are gonna have Brooklyn's pick in the draft.

Durant actually hates playing in DC because too many friends and "family" hassle him for tickets and other bs

Probably bc he's only in town for one game a season.

OKC just needs a money spot-up shooter and they'll be fine.

He's not going to DC. He doesn't want to play at hi!e as he doesn't want to deal with his outer circle of people begging and asking for shite all the time. This is from him.

Watch out for the spurs, seriously. If I had to bet this is it

West certainly was not stacked this year. Top heavy yes, but the East was better top to bottom as far as playoff teams go.

The 8th seed Pistons could've beat Houston, Dallas, and Memphis, probably the Blazers too.

Boston has a lot of money and could be an intriguing option. They have a great roster, a lot of money, and he will shoot 30 times a game.

Which big FAs have ever signed with Boston?

The Wizards had health issues all year, but if you put Wall, Beal, and Durant in the same lineup and put some decent bigs up front and a D and three guy off the bench, you are looking at 60 wins in the East.

I don't think James wants him tbh. He's an old school kinda guy. Would rather win a ring on his own than teaming up with another top 5 player. The kinda player we don't see often in the league today in the age of super teams. Gotta respect James for that.
