I always heard the Wizards are a possible destination for him-to return back to his home area. But then again he wants a ring.

If he leaves and doesn't sign a Lebron-esque deal(which is my #1 prediction), my money would be on GS or LAC as the front runners. BOS or WAS as the dark horses.

Memphis...they went 0-2 vs them during the season when memphis was healthy, could very well have

Dallas...they split during the season and dallas was even more hampered now, could very well have

Houston...they went 2-0 during the season...could very well have

Yep the East has actually evened things out if not convincingly overtaken the West in terms of quality conference depth.

The West still has the superior top end teams though. Only Cleveland would really belong in the same class as the top 4 in the west.

If Durant wants to be in SA, Danny Green will be traded

You think just Green? I think it will be Mills Green and a third maybe rights to the C or Livio

They have to free some money.

Maybe Patty or Boris - whoever they think is less replaceable. I don't care about LJC, we will never see him.

Honestly I'm indifferent on getting Durant it would be cool to get him but it would probably stunt Kawhi's growth towards an MVP type player. If we can just get a Pau Gasol in the offseason I'd be happy

I hate agree with you about LJC. I thought he was going to be pretty good but the knee injury derailed it. Not sure if Nikola ever shows up either 2 1st rounders just poof. But Alderidge can be considered a replacement for 1 of them.

More than half of the Spurs regular season losses was at the hands of teams from the Eastern Conference. Nobody gives a shite about the regular season.

Zach Lowe says there is some buzz around executives that Durant will give a serious look at the Spurs. Hmmm. From article:

quote:

I will say this: The Spurs buzz is ascendant in a way that is eerily similar to what happened last January at the D-League Showcase, when a half-dozen unconnected team executives warned me over the span of a few days that LaMarcus Aldridge would bolt from Portland for San Antonio.

he'll stay in okc one more year so his max contract is worth more under the new cba in 2017.

Agreed. But think he will try to get "player options" for future year(s) to guard him self against injuries in that one year
