Where do you rank Miguel Cabrera among the greatest hitters of all time?

Not in the top 10

Ted Williams, Ty Cobb, Babe Ruth, Hank Aaron, Rogers Hornsby, Stan Musial, Honus Wagner, Lou Gehrig, Willie Mays and the already mentioned Bonds.

Miggy is currently 42nd in offensive WAR, 26th in wRC+, and 60th in wOBA.

I'd say he's closer to the wRC+, probably in the top 25 hitters of all time.

How would you rank these hitters? All of these players stats are through their age 33 season.

Player A- 435 HRs, 1522 RBIs, .321/.398/.561, 155 OPS+, 152 wRC+, led the league in BA 4x, HR 2x, RBI 2x, OBP 4x, OPS 2x

Player B- 435 HRs, 1414 RBIs, .314/.409/.599, 156 OPS+, 154 wRC+, led the league in BA 1x, HR 1x, RBI 1x, OBP 2x, OPS 3x

Player C- 348 HRs, 1193 RBIs, .319/.438/.577, 168 OPS+, 164 wRC+, led the league in BA 1x, OBP 4x, OPS 4x

Player D- 349 HRs, 1223 RBIs, .303/.415/.554, 157 OPS+, 156 wRC+, led the league in RBI 1x, OPS 1x

Player E- 492 HRs, 1498 RBIs, .321/.410/.599, 165 OPS+, 161 wRC+, led the league in BA 1x, HR 2x, RBI 1x, OBP 2x, OPS 3x



































Player A is Miguel Cabrera, Player B is Manny Ramirez, Player C is Frank Thomas, Player D is Jeff Bagwell and Player E is Albert Pujols.

Why would I chill with new age stats? They're especially useful when comparing players across eras.

In my personal rankings? I have him at 763rd, in between Benito Santiago and Chuck Knoblauch.
