When your team is knocked out of the playoff, who do you then go for?

Do you want to see that team succeed, and go all the way just so you can say your team lost to the champions. Or do you prefer to see that team suffer and go home just because they broke your heart.

Depends. Usually go with whatever team I have a passing rooting tie-in for (i.e., longtime Brady fan, or an Aggie is playing on one of the remaining teams, etc.).

Stress level goes way down, at least

I tend to root for southern teams and underdogs so it is Falcons all the way this year. And that's coming from a Saints fan.

Usually default to the teams with former Kentucky guys on it. Unfortunately, both of those have been eliminated (Cobb with Packers, Dupree with Steelers).

I will say I wouldn't exactly be sad if Jacob Tamme gets a ring with Atlanta after his November injury that ended his season.

Well as a Bucs fan, I'm rooting against Atlanta. Saints fans should be too.

If 'my' team isn't playing and I don't have a strong dislike for either team playing I pretty much always pull for the underdog.

I used to pick a side regardless and get really into watching it, then my team won a SB; ever since then idc. Last year I forgot it was that day while at a social event until I saw a TV late in the game.

I used to root for Matty Ice.

he let me down one time too many previous playoffs. I didn't even record his performance today.

Let the chips fall where they may.

Rooted for Baltimore in the SB after the 49ers booted us out last time, though part of that stemmed from hate when we were both in the NFC West.
