A&M and it's not even close. I've followed both college football and the NFL since the early 1980's and until now have never heard"12th man" associated with the Seahawks. Certainly not in the Jim Zorn days, nor the Kurt Warner days, nor the Dave Kreig days.

And, staging an attempt to break a crowd noise record is lame. Several stadiums could do it if the crowd was aware that they were on the spot.

Im sure they could but do they dont have the passion to do it like the fans of the seahawks.

A&M. I've always followed college football and it's traditions way closer than the NFL though. I'd imagine the answer to the OP's question depends on where you live and which sport you care more about.

Nationally I'm sure more people associate the term with the Seahawks, as the NFL is significantly more popular than college football
