Dan Marino wasn't good enough to win a SB.

The "worst" qb to win a SB since Dilfer is Flacco who is still a top 10 qb.

You have to have a top 10ish qb to win a SB. Now more than ever.

Dalton is around 15. Slightly above average in reg season, going to poop every playoffs

Answer is in the question.

Outside of an all world defense, I think the floor is Phillip Rivers (I'm trying to not use QBs that have won a super bowl).

It took Peyton Manning until his 6th season to win a playoff game….

Did you see his defenses? If Bob Sanders was hurt, they would ever have won a SB.

That's on Polian, not Manning.

His contract isn't as big a deal as what it looks like.

I don't know who we would change to unless the coaches really like McCarron. If our offensive line blocks like they did last night it won't matter who we have at QB.

I agree. If they had any sense at all they would just go out and get Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers or Drew Brees.

Either suck or be awesome. Consistently being a bubble playoff team with a average at best QB is probably the worst thing you can do. You don't get to infuse top 15 level talent into your system, and you can't entice free agents with playoff success.
