We've stood strong in that situation all year

The Saints D has never broken down so bad in the final minutes of play, at least since I've been watching them.
In fact, I have never seen two team's D break down as bad as they in the end like that.

I am not saying Brees shouldn't have thrown that ball. A TD is a TD. But I feel there were to many ways he could have taken more time off the clock.

except he isn't the best qb in the NFL right now. He's arguably the best, but was outperformed last year

So in that scenario, where neither team's D were stopping anything, you would trust your D with a 1:20 left on the clock?
Thats absurd. You are in the playoffs. Both D's broke down to the point were before that drive, Alex Smith was looking like a superbowl qb.

I also said, that any one of Brees, Rodgers, and Manning can pass Brady next year.

But Aaron Rodgers proceeded to crap the bed in the playoffs with the best team. Rodgers definitely didn't play well against the Giants.

And I've given my reasons why I have Brady over Brees. I also said that it was very close between them.

I fully expected them not to score a touchdown in that situation. a long field goal at best to tie the game. We. decided to fricking blitz. we had done it all year and never blew it.

Either way, we scored on an incredible play that was designed for a first down and not a touchdown. it wasn't like we. passed it in from the 15. we needed a touchdown to take the lead

I refuse to rank the top tier of QBs. They are all very close. Rodgers probably had the best 2011, but Brees was marginally better in the second half of the season. Brady is not too shabby either. Peyton is a question mark, but I will give him the benefit of the doubt.

1. Rodgers
1. Brees
1. Brady
1. Peyton

5. Romo
6. Roethlisberger
7. Eli
8. Rivers (he was five before his terrible season, but I think his track record and being coached by Norv Turner gives Phil some leeway)

9. Ryan
10. Stafford (with one more tier 2 season under his belt, I will move him up)
11. Schaub
12. Cutler
13. Vick
14. Newton

In all honesty, the difference between my three tiers is very negligable and can be swapped. For example, I could swap Rivers and Romo or Cutler and Ryan and really have no opposition to it.

Packers did not have the best team in the playoffs. Defense was garbage. Receivers dropped 8 balls. Hardly aaron crapping the bed.

Rodgers arguably had the greatest season for a qb of all time last year. In addition to obvious strengths, he is easily the most athletic of the top 3.

Anyone that doesnt have rodgers number one is either a hater or an idiot.

Right Now:
1. Rodgers
2. Brees
3. Brady
4. Eli
5. Peyton
6. Stafford
7. Ben
8. Cam
9. Cutler
10. Schaub

What about Rodgers numbers in the playoffs? Not very good. And they were 15-1, its tough to argue that they weren't the best team going into the playoffs. And Brady and Brees have been as good as Rodgers the past 4 years. I just think Brady is better right now.

Brady is great, and Brees is great...neither is indisputably the best.

Hey, don't blame me for that shite. Brees was clutch, but apparently, Alex Smith was a little bit more clutch.
