he said he went "8-1".. with 3 parlays, wouldn't that be either 3-0 or 2-1?

Not exactly the way a sharp thinks about a game.
Ever consider that Bama is horrendous under Saban covering the spread when they are 40+?

See if you were smart you should bet 9 single games and you would actually be 8-1, instead of 2-1.

You also said you won a parlay the first week, one the second week and then went 2-3 in week 3 (after saying you bet 1 parlay a week).
1+1+3 = 5 5 *3 game parlays = 15 games.
I guess you don't math much?
Also, anyone that bets based on the transitive property is going to lose lots of money and not win 14 of 15.

Wouldn't going 2-1 in 3 game parlays be about the same or better as going 8-1 ats?

You guys are the ones mentioning a "sharp"...I am not a professional gambler. I merely posted what I played this year so far and the results. And just because Saban's team didnt cover 40+ in a previous game, does not mean they wont in a subsequent game. So Miss is a very weak team. They should have covered, but didnt. That's why it's called gambling.

I bet a 4 game parlay week 1. LSU pushed so it was essentially a 3 gamer. In week 2 I won another 3 game parlay. In week 3 I lost a 3 game parlay because Bama did not cover. So, that's 9 games total that I bet on and one did not cover. So, math wizard, that is 8-1. Back at ya, spade.

Yes, I have gone 2-1 on my total bets, but they were using some voodoo math and saying I went 14-1...I have picked 8 teams that covered and 1 that did not. The one that did not killed my total bet in week 3. So, broken down, I have gone 8-1 on individual picks, but 2-1 on total bets.
