What does the MSB think about Darnold possibly staying in school?

The person who was quote tweeted is a 30-year NFL scout.

More reps in college is a good thing.

Could be a good thing.

I think he'll be a good pro but he needs more time.

Plus, the dude probably wants no part of the Jets.

A. Have the "national" media blow you constantly, get on the cover of magazines, and be an instant Heisman favorite.

B. Cleveland

You decide. It's not like his family is broke or unemployed or anything.

I'll believe it when I see it but I don't think it's a terrible idea. He has a ton of potential but still has work to do

Why is that team listed? They have a Quarterback.

I don't think they are as certain as you are

Kizer looked decent in the two games I watched. Hopefully they will stick with him for a while.

If you think QB is their issue then I can't help you. The Browns know, just as you do.

Darnold's probably waiting to see if the Browns have the first pick or not.

He wants Cleveland to have the first pick probably. It guarantees him not playing there. They are not going to draft Darnold with Kizer. They will trade that pick if they earn it.

none of this gets you paid or any closer to your first big money extension

the NFL might always be there, but draft stock won't be

That's why I put the Jets.

I don't think Cleveland starts over again.

But who knows, it's Cleveland.

I never said QB was their main issue, I just said I don't think they are sold on Kizer after 4 games of a lot of ups and downs. To say "the browns have a QB" is a bit premature.

Browns PR statement last year was that they really liked Kessler and he's barely even on the roster now.

I mentioned this during the game thread Friday night. He's been telling everyone that he's staying. Obviously that could change, but don't be surprised if he decides to come back.

I'd be shocked if a top 5 pick returned to school. That doesn't mean it won't happen, but that's a ton of money to leave on the table.

I don't believe it, but we'll see.

Matt Barkley would be a relevant cautionary tale. Slipped to the 4th round after returning to school.
