i actually prefer cowherd to lebatard, but "stugotz" is awesome and makes the show. all the voiceovers with lebatard's dad irritate the shite out of me.

overall i think the show is more entertaining than the herd, as i like the more lighthearted nature. i'd love to see stugotz have a show with someone better than lebatard.

i think it's a refreshing change from your typical ESPN product but i understand that it's not for everyone

Now that it's mid-morning, I haven't had the chance to listen to it much... but overall his show is entertaining... With is more than you can say for 95% of nationally syndicated radio shows.

It's content very often does not equal sports - like a lot of what's going on at ESPN (especially radio) these days.

the mike mccarthy interview the other day was probably the worst thing I've ever heard on the radio. i get what they were trying to do, but if they knew he is so bland they shouldn't have even bothered having him on. it was so bad lebatard even tried to justify the interview after the commercial break.

the whole halloween schtick did work a lot better with tim legler yesterday.

his attempts don't always succeed and sometimes lebatard irks me with the soapboxes he chooses to whine from, but i like it when i hear it overall. the opposite of lebatard is mike/mike, which is so vanilla and risk averse you'd find more conflict with 2 grandmas discussing baking cookies

Side Note: has anyone been able to listen to Jalen & Jacoby? They're on at night and forget to tune in, but I'd like to hear what they sound like on radio. Big fan of the podcast

AWFUL! ESPN Radio has got to crap other than Russilo and Kannell. I listen to Glenn Beck instead and he is a nut job.

It's not for everyone. I've gone the Podcast route lately and have been listening to PFF, Simmons, and Carolla lately.

I didn't quite understand him admonishing the local radio guys the other day who referred to his dad as fresh off the boat because it's an extremely racist phrase. I don't see him refusing to cash those Disney paychecks that have a show called Fresh off the Boat.

not only that, but lebatard is pretty much making fun of his dad's thick accent by using him for all the voiceovers.
