Because a Top 5 program struggles vs. Arky, Ole Miss, Auburn, and Towson. Its not like it was one fluke game, where a team got up for LSU. It was 4 less than mediocre teams

A&M 63; Auburn 21
Bama 49; Auburn 0
UGA 38; Auburn 0
LSU 12; Auburn 10

Bama 52; Ark 0
A&M 58; Ark 10
LSU 20; Ark 13

Bama 33; Ole Miss 14
UGA 37; Ole Miss 10
LSU 41; Ole Miss 35

Why are you penalizing LSU playIng inferior teams close when ND did the same thing all season?

Look dipshit I'll make it easy for you since you don't understand what program means and are basing this off one year like a tool.

Since around 2000 Notre Dame is

Wins: 98

Losses 53

Texas A&m is:

Wins: 64

Losses: 58

LSU is:

Wins: 104

Losses 31

So you tell me what the better programs are at the moment? You are a fricking retard just like I said.

The question wasn't who had the best season this year, the question was What are the best CFB programs right now.

I know you are fricking slow but there are the facts laid right out in front of you. If you think A&M is a top 5 program you are just stupid.

Oh and in case you are eevn more stupid than I thought I'll leave this here for you as well..

We played a&m at A&m, remember the score? We won right? So you are a fricking tool.

Also this will be my last responses to you since it's obvious you are a troll.

If anyone wants to discuss this logically that's no problem, but it's not you.

Dudes an obvious troll

Everyone knows LSU plays down to its competition..has since les got to baton rouge. If that idiot thinks LSU isn't a top 5 program then he's not worthy of my team to even "argue" with him.

Bama, LSU, Oregon, OK, UF or UGA

I gotta leave OSU out because they forfeited one season, went .500 one season, and this season didnt have a bowl game. And I will add, they have struggled for years against top 10 opponents during the regular season/bowl games and have had a few seasons where they didnt even play any top 15 teams. I cant give a top 5 ranking to them based off good records when they play MAC/B1G schools and dont beat top ranked teams.

LSU just suffered the worst defeat in BCS history, and is now playing in the Peach Bowl. They've had a 4 and a 5-loss season since 2000. I would hope your current Top 5 program is better than that, if you are using a 12 year scale. In fact, your rationale knocks Bama out for their 7-6 season in '07.

My Top 5 are as of today, are based on programs going forward as the Top 5 in the country. No one can argue Bama, OSU, Fla. going forward. ND is back on top. Until they are beaten back, they have too much history to say they are not among the Top 5.

A&M has stepped up in the power conference, and made a huge statement. History making statement. They are a hotter property than LSU right now. Sorry you disagree.

Ohio State didn't "forfeit" a season. It was vacated. Every opponent that lost to Ohio State in 2010 still has a loss for that game. Besides, you know what the results were on the field. You're using an excuse as bias.

Florida went .500 last year and has had a few meh seasons mixed in during the last decade but you choose to include them or...

Georgia.
2010-2011 Record 6-7
2009-2010 Record 8-5
IF Georgia wins their bowl game this will be their 3rd season with only two losses in the last decade. Seasons with 1 loss? Zero. Their average season in the last decade is 4 losses.

Ohio State BCS record 6-3.

If you don't want to put them in your list then fine but don't make up bullshite to justify it.

Wow, really? LSU has been in 3 title games and has had more top 5-10 finishes than anyone. (LSU beat A&M btw). This is ND's first good year in along time. Bama was bad up until a few years ago when Saban took over. OSU....as I posted above. This thread is about now, not historically.

12-0 and #3 in the AP. That is what it is right now.

As I said, you are biased against Ohio State. You aren't objective and that is ok. Others can see that just fine.

Can you fricking read? That isn't what I was doing at all. He used a mediocre season to discredit Ohio State. I pointed out that a couple of teams in his list also had recent mediocre seasons.

JFC, pay attention.

FWIW, I absolutely believe that Florida right now is a top 5 program. It's hard to argue against their success. The resume that people should be gashing is Oregon.

3-6 in their last 9 bowl games and every single time they come up against a legit defense they look average at best.
