when did the world rankings start mixing tours? Sorry to say but the #1 LPGA player could not compete with the top 150 PGA players on the same course.

He made a comment(after Fridays round) about in his mind he is a top 5 player in the world. Then was asked about that comment after 18 yesterday and starting talking about his jr record, am record, college record, and then his pga record. Some people got turned off by it, but personally I think you have to have that attitude to get after it every week. We ALL know he is not a top 5 but I believe you have to have that mindset that each week you tee it up your the best player out there.

ETA: I don't have a problem with the confidence in his game. He gives off a very Tiger like vibe at his age, we'll see how he does in the Majors this year. He played really well yesterday, especially after getting into some bad spots on the back 9 yesterday.

I wanted to be mad for Rory, but Rory had a transition year last year, and this year he has been close but hasn't finished the deal. How can I say that Rory is better than Reed when Reed just whipped him straight up? The funny thing is, if Reed would have just kept his mouth shut, he could keep on quietly having good tournaments. He just ran his mouth, and now he will have a lot of attention on him, so if he has a poor round or two, people will notice. He didn't need to draw that added attention to himself so early in his career.

Well, He's #3 in the FedEx Cup. And he won this past weekend against the best. So maybe he is in the top 5. Right now.
