So, your assertion is that people thunk kawhi isn't a leader is because he has the same even-keeled demeanor as the greatest Spurs leader of all time, 2-time MVP Tim Duncan?

My assertion is that kawhis MVP case is hurt bc some voters see his nonverbal demeanor and assume that his leadership doesn't impact his teams wins as much as other players who are more visibly the clear leader of their team.

c'mon bro. Everybody knows that this is how teammates should react when their 'leader' hits a game winner in the playoffs.

No.

The discussion was that you heard a "few podcasts" that called out his leadership, and you'd link them.

You linked one, talking about his swag, never talking about his leadership.

The L, it's yours.

You mean a local beat reporter with a hot take. Not a "verified Spurs guy." He's not with the team in any capacity, you dolt.

He's a verified twitter guy who is a Spurs reporter. I don't know his background. You can dismiss it all you want. Clearly you are gonna dismiss it bc you don't agree with it. Shocker.

An assertion shouldn't leave ambiguity. It should be forceful and clear, or it isn't really assertion.

It also should be in past tense. You can't just move the goal post on it

PS: he's saying you're trying to change your assertion.

Oh so now it's "verified twitter guy" instead of "verified Spurs guy" Coming from the one who, in this very thread, called out others for "playing word games."

Your two sources for your absurd takes: Izzy Gutierrez, who was getting called out left and right 3-4 years ago for being as anti-Spurs as he possibly could be at ESPN, and one of the most notorious hack sports anchors in the city

He also said nothing about Kawhi's leadership or nothing that even hinted at it, fwiw.
