Having moved down here, I have found that southern schools are by far weirder. Not even close.

You're a Rice fan? Pretentious assholes IMO

Reminds me of Bama fans.

A former Penn St coach used his ties with the university to rape children. Then former coaches and administration either covered it up or did not do enough/negligence to go after it.
The rapist is in jail for life, the former coach dead and disgraced, and ex admins facing their own charges and what not. A few bad guys apart of their program are gone and they just want to go on and enjoy. They don't care to hear about it or let it quell their fervor.
Someone of them even still appreciate their former coach JoePa, for the mountain of good things he did in life and not ultimately condemn and damn for poor decisions he made in his senile years.

The mildly obese dude in the first video with the weird porkpie hat and baggy cargo shorts is the most big ten thing I have ever seen

why would they want to hear about it? its time to move on. Joe pa wasnt ever convicted of any crime so why not appreciate what he did for the football
program. The man is a legend. No need to condem anyone for something he didnt do
same deal with other schools.. mett at lsu sexually assaulted a woman and fans praised him. jeremy hill assaulted a guy and fans praised him. but thats okay because its lsu.

i wasnt aware he was charged with that... my bad, my opinion changes then
Posted on 12/27/14 at 8:39 pm to oleyeller
I did not say he was charged, he was old and dying and they wanted the whole thing to go away as quickly as possible.
But the accepted facts of the case bear that out.
he was involved in a cover-up.
his body should be dug up and hung

Only reason people say cult is because people are sheep and someone said it when story broke so now everyone says penn state is a cult because they think it makes them seem smart when it just shows they are just copy machines of what the magic tv box wants them to say.
And enough yas been put out that the blame joe pa stuff is kinda silly

Criminal negligence in order to save face when it involves raping innocent children, and you consider that only "poor decisions"?
GFY.

What people do to children will ( should) make you want to go on a rampage.
those people that do the abuse are emotionally and mentally ill, they are sick and can never recover from it.
"JoePa" covered it up so he could win football games.
What Paterno did or did not do ( take action) is in many ways worse than the acts of abuse themself

Riiight. You started by saying it had nothing to do with the scandal...then used terms that were directly used to describe the fanbase during the scandal.

Oregon is the weirdest on this board
We have a lot of Buckeye posters on here that I have actually grew fond of, but my interactions with them in person they have been a weird bunch.
I actually got jumped one night by about 4 or 5 of them over SEC/Big10 banter. Pussies didn't even get the best of me, just ripped my shirt off and a cop made them go in a store in the quarter and buy me a new one
Also one of my buddies ex was from Ohio and down at Tulane law and had her friends fly down to party. They were really peculiar as well.... Maybe it's just a mid-west thing.
For the most part I like most of the Ohio fans on this board that showed up for the Sugar Bowl and stayed.

As a B1G and Wisconsin fan/alumnus, they are a bunch of weirdos.
As a fan of a completely different conference/program (Boston College), and being at the Pinstripe Bowl tonight, they are bunch of weirdos.

On here, Oregon fans are fricking strange. They all think they're posting some profound statement evetytime they post. Nothing is ever simple.
