Spurs win!!

that was about the most painful viewing experience of my life. I think I watched on 4 different feeds of varying quality and sound before I eventually gave up and followed gamecast on ESPN

can't wait for the game at City on Wednesday. Having that one point cushion is enormous

Thomas Muller bagged a hat trick for Bayern today.

In related news, the kits Bayern wore today are so much better than the zippers.

City pulled through and dominated the possession. We deserved that result. Glad Bellamy got that goal at the end after being frustrated all day out wide. Wednesday is going to be a slugfest. Both teams need maximum points. I am pumped up.

you mean City needs maximum points. We will be happy to walk away with one and roll the dice against mighty Burnley next Saturday

But I definitely agree about the pumped up part!

I wouldn't be content with a draw if I was a Spuds fan. I draw would put City in 4th on goal differential. Even if you have big bad Burnley left, I wouldn't want to attempt a rout on a team playing for nothing but pride at this point.

we are up a point on City right now, so a draw is fine. Goal differential will be irrelevant in that case

the only way goal differential can possibly matter now is if the following occurs:
- we lose to City, then win at Burnley
- City beats us, then draws at West Ham on Saturday

both teams would have 70

ETA: I'm purposely leaving out the possibility that we draw Wednesday and lose to Burnley (and City draws at West Ham), b/c I would would swallow a bullet right afterward... well, at least after I burned all my Spurs attire
