Me either and won't this weekend. I'm going to Waco for family weekend and won't have a chance to sneak a round in at Twin Rivers there. I really liked that course.

It's not supposed to break 80 degrees here today. I need to set up some bow hunting spots, but I think a round of golf is in order.

Which reminds me, how many of you nerds put the sticks up in the fall/winter and head to the woods? I've always put mine up pretty much for good from October through the end of February. I'm going to try to play a lot more this fall though. I hate having to relearn my swing every spring.

Defending my thesis in mid-October, graduating in December, then packing up and moving west, hopefully.

Been in touch with two clubs out there. Got emails back immediately. Both seem interested. Meeting with Cherry Hills out there in November when I will be in Denver.

Waiting to see more posted. I'd like to apply in Wyoming, Arizona, Washington, and some other places. Even if I don't do an internship with them next year, it'd be good to already make contact with them for future positions.

Arizona

The Tuscon area, along with Sedona and Flagstaff, is one of the most scenic places I've ever been to. One of my favorite courses I've ever played was in Tuscon. Jack rabbits the size of dogs out there

I did not care for the "DANGER: RATTLE SNAKE HABITAT-ENTER AT OWN RISK" signs I saw out there. If a ball got hit OB, it stayed there.

Goal is to find an asst. in training job somewhere in Colorado/ski country for the winter or an internship in Arizona or California.

There's one in Aspen with a seasonal AIT position.

For the most part, when the ducks start flying, I don't get out on the course much. Maybe between splits, but no more than that. Also, when there is a LSU home game, I don't even think about it.

So billyho tweeted that being a dad was his biggest accomplishment. But yet he was going to miss the birth to play golf. That makes sense.
