What's the best way to handle that situation?

Ive had this happen a few times, and you can handle it differently. Ive slowed my play to a crawl and just not let the guy play through for 2-3 holes and when he asked me if he could play through tell him "I would have let you, but then you hit into me...so deal with it."

Ive also been with a group before that would hit the balls back at the. Also been in the situation where you just wait on the guy and ask him nicely to stop hitting into you and youll let him through. It just depends on how big a dick you want to be and how big of a dick he is.

anyone got any insight on new irons these days?

I'm still hitting 8-9 year old Cleveland CG4's that I hit through 4 years of college, they're quite worn out but I haven't been keeping up with new equipment at all lately

I've been playing since I was 8 and I could use a few lessons myself. There is no skill level in the game that couldn't use a few lessons, or at least an outside perspective of their swing. Even just an extra pair of eyes sometimes can do a world of difference if your swing is a little or a lot off

So far I'm enjoying it. I'm pretty type A so I need to control that, since this is a game you play for a long time before you're good

I am going through all the stupid stuff beginners go through like not being balances, leading with my arms, no follow through etc

I would let him play through then start hitting into him. It only seems fair. Where were you playing? I hate feeling like I'm being rushed when that happen the game goes to hell in a hand basket.

I always feel rushed when someone lets me play through and usually frick up that hole

When I tell people to play thru, I demand that they not hurry

got a question for all the Fathers of the Golf Board!!

How many of you "teach" your kids how to play? Do you feel like you are doing them a service "teaching" them the game of golf? Are you "teaching" them correctly or just trying your best?

I took my son yesterday

It's frustrating bc he isn't that interested in it, but he ends up having fun if I make him

I try to teach him about being quiet and where to walk, etc
