I just hate betting anything over -7 on NFL games. I just don't trust teams to cover the two score spread

thanks for the info

I always forget that they are a team that are hot and cold from indoor to outdoor fairly frequently

I may stay away from them this week.

Have Seattle -2.5 so far at 1*

May add Carolina. Going to look at all the lines again and research what I like best from there.

According to an article in USA Today's sports section, Vegas is studying the impact that the replacement refs will have on regular season games. One example given was that physical teams like Pittsburg will get the benefit of loosely called games, the take being that the new refs will be hesitant to throw too many flags in really physical played games.

no problem

I remembered how they were favored the last two years in the opening week on the road. They got blown out by the Bears but played the Steelers pretty tough. That game went to OT but Mendenhall broke a nice run to win it for Pittsburgh.

I may take the Bills ML (+135) against the Jets.

Any opinions on that game? Buffalo is underrated and the Jets are insanely dysfunctional

NE -7 @ Tenn
Atl -1 @ KC
Buffalo +2.5 @ Jets
Nola -10 vs. Washington

They all look good.

Took NE (-7). I don't see how Brady doesn't light them up.

i guess the same thing that made them score so many points last year?

but i can see stafford putting up some big numbers this year

Also having Best healthy will help them put up some points

Any reason you're wary of the game?

besides for last year, the pats usually start out slow week 1.. and these were years that they played solid in the preseason. I'll just wait till the 2ndH

I'm skeptical of NYJ. I can't figure out if they are actually anemic or if they were just trying all kinds of new stuff in preseason. I wouldn't be surprised if they actually score some points, but I won't be surprised if they score 6 or 9 either.

Supposedly supposed to be some nasty weather for the Cowboys/Giants game. Anyone thinking of betting the over/under, be sure to keep an eye on it.

I would lay off on that one. I know they've looked pretty good on offense in the preseason but they have not done well in early road games the past few years.

Yeah, I may put a majority of my units on the New England (-7) play. I know some may be skeptical, but Brady with even more weapons, just too good to pass up.

just keep this in mind.

Link

Previous Super Bowl losers have not faired well the following year in Week 1. New England's O-line was having a hard time this preseason with injuries and frankly, they didn't look that good.

I've gone back and forth on this game in my mind.
