Steph is not likable. He is a family guy and an underdog. Both likable qualities. But the guy is a terrible interview. He comes off very cold.
And on the court, Curry has to be the biggest showboater I've ever seen. He turns his back before the shot falls sometimes. Who in the hell does that? That's like J.R. Smith level douchey.
I think Curry is naturally a shy, low key introvert by nature which is why his interviews & pressers are not really that great. Many times he doesn't even look at the reporter asking the question or into the camera when answering.
On the court though, his personality changes where he is in his most comfortable environment. Remember, he isn't the biggest or most gifted player. He has worked his arse off to become the player he is. Just like any other star in any profession, he plays the game with a supreme confidence. He knows his ability & he knows how hard he's worked to get there. I have no problem with his gesture after making a shot or him holding a pose after a 3.
Jordan & Bird were cocky as frick too. They had every right to be & so does Curry. A large portion of fans want all players to be like Tim Duncan. It's a been a pleasure watching Timmy all these years & he deserves props for being himself all these years but damn it, it takes all types of personalities to bring sports alive. It's frickin entertainment, not a frickin chess match. Watching Jordan & Bird talking beau coup shite to fans or to opposing players both on the court & on the bench while lighting their arse up was entertaining. Reggie Miller going at it with Spike Lee was classic. frick all that just shut up & play bullshite. Not saying Curry falls under this category but the game needs shite talking bad asses just as it needs those humble, blue collar guys.

But Jordan, Bird, and Miller embraced the villain role. I've never heard someone call one of those players humble.
Curry can't decide if he wants to be cocky or humble.

Green is an interesting guy. I think he's really important to that team. But I also hate that he comes off so likable in interviews after I want to kill him every game.
How?!
Because certain players understand how to control their levels of intensity on & off the court/field. There's no way someone can go around in everyday type activities with the same intensity it takes to perform in professional sports. The ones who know how to channel that intensity are the ones who are the most successful. The ones who can't are the ones we see getting arrested or having problems in their life off the field. No one has a bigger problem of being able to control that intensity on the field than Ndamukong Suh. He seems soft spoken off the field but he gets entirely too wired up at times leading to all the dumb stuff we've seen from on the field over the years.

It's because he is naturally an introvert off the court but transforms into an alpha on the court. Bird, Jordan & Miller are all alphas by nature so they could zero fricks about what anyone thought of them personally.

I like the voting system in these Rockets threads.
Anything with a level headed no bias view towards the Rockets that isn't Pro-Rockets. Immediate downvoted.
Anything pro-Rockets. Immediately up voted.
Wonder who that is lol

The crazy thing is, I haven't posted anything negative about the Rockets at all. I just stated why I feel Curry & Green are the way they are. If I would have been trolling or dissing anything Rockets, then I could see it but to down vote a opinion just because it is different is pretty petty.

63 is the playoff record for points FYI. But that also involved two overtimes.
