People started using that during the Clippers series. We saw how that worked out.

They won the series. You looking at it from a one game standpoint. That's where you're throwing yourself off.

Speaking of boxing references, here's a visual allegory of Boom in this thread:

We'll see, I suppose. You might get called away to Bolivia or Siberia or sumn again, so we won't keep the light on for ya.

Your team hasn't won the West, much less a title, in 20 years. I've seen 6 conference titles from my team in that time. Even the fricking Mavs have been there a couple of times, but hey, good luck climbing out of the 3-0 hole

Maybe he's thinking even more macro, not just a series standpoint. If you lose to GSW, and don't win the championship, rust is now an excuse right?

I should have made it more Boom specific:

Great win tonight, team had to play desperate and did. Need that to continue to even have a chance.

Its good they've gotten over the psychological hump of actually being able to beat GSW in a game this season. Win WED, and who knows...

I hope you're not referring to Curry being out. The Warriors were only competitive when he wasn't on the floor tonight.

I see Boom brought his A-game tonight.

Anyway, this game reminded a lot of game 4 (of the semifinals) against the Lakers in 2009. Everyone assumed the series was over (for different reasons, to be fair) and the Rockets jumped all over them in the first quarter.

All I want is for the Rockets to play to their potential in game 5. If that's not good enough to win, so be it.

The Warriors were +7 with Curry off the floor tonight. Interesting...

I bet this stat would have been mentioned if it applied to Harden.

Harden is clearly an elite player. You can tell because of the number of haters.

I suppose not. I guess this is just something I'll have to get used to.

There are worse problems to have.

Hey. I agree. But some people say he is boring to watch, and all he does is shoot free throws.
