this class was sick...

Matt Forte
Jamaal Charles
Darren McFadden
Chris Johnson
Ray Rice
Rashard Mendenhall
Jonathan Stewart
Kevin Smith
Benjarvis Green Ellis

Some other decent backs like Danny Woodhead, Tim Hightower, Felix Jones, Tashard Choice, Steve Slaton, Ryan Torain, Justin Forsett.

Still pissed about my high school buddy Calvin Dawson not getting a shot. Freaking got arrested like a week before the combine.

It was a talented draft class but I guarantee in 15 years you wont even remember have of those guys even played in the NFL.

Really? When you're a late round draft prospect and you get arrested leading right up to the draft teams are pretty much gonna be like yeah ok we don't need you.

I wasn't saying the bottom guys I listed were great. They are decent back ups.

But Ray Rice, Jamaal Charles, DMac, Forte are four of the best RB's in the game. Chris Johnson was unreal for a bit but has fallen off a bit.

It was a question. Give another class.

Like I said, he's tailed off. He's still 26 though.

Also, he's one of only six running backs in the history of the game to have a 2,000 years season.

Again, give me another class.

No, the life of a running back just happens to be about 5 years and these are the only names you know.

Class of '95 has to be up there...

1, Ki-Jana Carter
2. Tyrone Wheatley
3. Napoleon Kaufman
4. James Stewart
5. Rashaan Salaam

...in near total failure.

The only players on that list that will potentially have a memorable career are maybe Forte, McFadden, and Ray Rice. And even that is arguable with injuries and the short shelf life of RBs.

The rest of them have had nice seasons here and there but will end up an afterthought on the long list of good, not great, running backs that have come through the league.

But it's a decent list of quality backs.

Chris Johnson he had one of the 2 or 3 greatest seasons ever for RB, he'll never be an afterthought.
