I agree with this. I watched Cousins tell his coach to STFU after he picked up his 3rd fall midway through the 2nd quarter when he was up here in Portland. He didn't want to be subbed out. He proceeded to offer no resistance on defense the rests of the way.
It was a great trade for the Pels cuz they didn't lose THAT much but when there was McCollum + picks for Cousins goingnaround in Portland, I wanted none of that.

I said it was a good trade for the pels. Worth the risk bc they gave up trash for him. But 9 time outta 10 cousins is gonna be the same dude he was in sac. Ie total loser. And the pels won't make any noise whatsoever.

Let's assume for one second that we're all retarded like Boom and a player is only worth what his trade value is (ignore rationale that tells you plenty other factors go in to a trade like cap size room, team goals - tank, rebuild, go all in; upcoming free agents you know you'll lose and need to move, etc)

Cousins lost because the kings, much like the Pels, did a terrible job of surrounding him with talent. And the front office is even worse than the Pels.
AD and Boogie will make the playoffs this year and next and it's really not a question at this point.
