Vince Young was a better college quarterback than Tim Tebow

Sure Tim has better stats and more championships but I saw both guys play in person and there was no one that captivated like like Vince Young. Everyone remembers the USC game, probably the most iconic college football game of all time but the Colorado game before that was just an explosion of his talent.

Vince wasn't an elite QB until his Senior year. This revisionist history of Tebow is laughable. He was a great passer in college.

Michael Vick was better than both.

VA Tech had zero business being in that BCS title game. I've never seen a player single handedly do that to a team.

True. But Vick was also a pretty good NFL qb as well. These guys didn't have skills that translated to the pros.

Apparently they don't know that Vince Young left after his junior year.

Every Texas fan I ever talk to about football tries to tirelessly argue this point.

Give me the championships and the stats any day, and if I had to pick one, it's the championships. Tebow also had better intangibles. Tebow was better - deal with it.

Tebow was better than Young, but no, Tim wasn't a great passer in college. He had outstanding receivers and an innovative offense, which opened up the field a lot. His receivers were a better college unit than when we had Landry and Odell. They used all of their players. Tim's intensity and leadership go along way when comparing him to other college qbs.

More like the ability to motivate the team in virtually any situation, but you're really funny.
