Vince Young wants to come back and play football. But his comeback could be a few games short of a full season even if he finds a team to take a chance on him.
quote:
The former Titans quarterback was arrested for a misdemeanor driving while intoxicated in Texas in January 2016. Last month, he pleaded no contest to those charges, per Ryan Autullo of the Austin American-Statesman. Under the NFL’s newest policies, that would ordinarily trigger a two-game suspension. Young was sentenced to 18 months probation for the arrest, fined $300, and ordered to complete 60 hours of community service. He also has to attend a drunk driving class and install a device on his car which won’t allow it to start if it detects alcohol on his breath, and leave the device on for nine months. When arrested, he refused a breathalyzer, and his blood test came back with a 0.246 blood-alcohol concentration, or three times the legal limit. He continued to work at the University of Texas. Of course, there’s also the question of whether the league will apply it’s rule consistently in this case, since Young seemed firmly out of the league at the time it happened, having said he retired in 2014. But as we all know, the NFL never applies its punishments inconsistently, so it would seem anyone giving him a chance should keep it in the back of their mind.

Good luck to him.
But I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking that the comeback ship has sailed for him. What is he like 33 now?

That agent may have the hardest job in America today.

As of last year he was trying to start a trucking company..
I have a friend that works at the bank he came to trying to get a loan. Interesting.

Isn't he pretty fat now too?

I will never understand hiring someone to do a job you can do yourself and paying them 20%. Stupid.

Well for someone who blew through $20 million or whatever it was, I wouldn't expect him to understand it either.
Besides, the agent may not even charge anything until he signs a contract. Agent my just want the rub.

I fear he's going to be like Curt Schilling. Throw all his money into a business then go bankrupt.

He won't make an NFL team. You heard it here first.

The Browns are bringing him and Jamarcus in to compete.

In a rib eating contest? Early money on J-Rock.

Well it did put his name back out there.

Jeff Fisher really screwed him.
He almost singlehandedly saved Jeff Fisher's job (In 2009, I think). Then Jeff threw him under the bus.

Guess he saw Brock Osweiler this year.

Speaking of comebacks, he hired Leigh Steinberg. I haven't heard that name for a long long time.

I remember a few years ago he was a backup in GB in the preseason and he looked good.

He should talk to Jamarcus Russell bout his attempt at making a comeback.
