Two plays

That is his career

One of them was only possible because the giants player let him go because of the stupid fricking rules in the NFL

He was a monumental busy who played for some awesome teams

He was terrible. Seriously, two plays at the end of his rookie season, and that's it

He was terrible at times, but I think a good descriptive word for his career is probably "bad"...

He was a great player who was drafted by the wrong team and never given the opportunity he deserved.

Explain to me how he was terrible when he led the league in passer rating his last year? He made another pro bowl after rookie year. He must have milked those two plays to death huh

He’s played in seven games (sitting out one hurt) and thrown for 998 yards, 1,186 yards fewer than Manning in the same amount of starts.

Huge draft bust.

Definitely in the Top 10 of all-time busts.

Maybe #9 or #10.

Disappointing career, but there have been much bigger busts and many worse QB's get significant action since VY's career in Tennessee ended (much of the blame is Vince's though).

Calling those Titans "awesome" teams is laughable.

What happened to VY actually makes me feel good because it means that attitude actually matters still.

That's not fair. Can we really call a 2-time Pro Bowler one of the top ten draft busts of all time?

First-round quarterbacks that were bigger busts:

Rick Mirer, Akili Smith, Matt Leinart, JaMarcus Russell, Ryan Tannehill (calling it), Tim Tebow, Christian Ponder, Sam Bradford (calling it), Brandon Weeden (and probably a few other Cleveland QBs), Health Shuler, and those are the ones off the top of my head.

If you want to call Young disappointing compared to his expectations, that's fair, but it's a stretch to call him a "huge bust."

46 career TDs
51 career INTs

Pretty terrible in today's NFL

But I don't think he's worse than some of the backups still in the league

McNair wasn't Fisher's choice either, he wanted Kevin Carter in that year's draft-but it worked out regardless. VY seemed to lose his professional grip (suicide threat/going awol, strip club mishap).

I'm not judging the guy, I rooted for him to succeed here...but a franchise QB, fairly or not has to have a better frame of mind. If he did he'd be on a roster somewhere.

Wish he could've gotten it back, here or elsewhere.
