Danielson is good at what he does, but he is the king of pointing out missed receivers, blocks, assignments etc. I don't mind him but he can be too negative for some.

I'm sure he and Nessler will be great together but I am sad that we will no longer get Nessler and Blackledge together because they are the best football announcing duo.

I'll miss old Verne though he has shown the tendency to be a little too enthusiastic for the Tide in recent years when calling Bama games.

His voice is synonymous with a big game on a crisp Saturday afternoon in the Fall so I'll forgive him that.

Danielson gets a pass because he only covers SEC games.

Dude gets so much wrong, so much of the time...and misses the big picture getting caught up in his agenda.

I remember when Bama clearly fumbled and it was clear he wasn't down...and Gary replayed it over and over...and it became more clear he wasn't down...and Gary kept saying, I don't know Verne...that's questionable. WTF! He was such a biased clown. He's like a political pundit...who closes his eyes to shite he doesn't like and waves his SEC pom-poms...but only the SEC teams that have a chance at the title.
