Was total bullshite, as is the rule.
Worst part is to have to listen to the commentators defend the call during the replay shots even though you can tell they think it's chicken shite too.

The rule is fricking dumb when applied like that. There was nothing else to go for there except his knees the way he was bent over. That's so much safer.

The targeting rule sucks for defensive backs. You literally have a no-win situation. You can either let the guy catch it, or try and dislodge the ball, but get called for targeting. Can't do anything anymore as a defender.

Noting can make that game feel any better. I left the stadium feeling bad for Utah State. They kicked our arse for 59.5 mins. The only reason and I mean the ONLY reason we beat them was depth and two lucky plays
They won the game. We just scored more in the end
They did the same thing to OU, USC and Texas AM. I think there were a few more as well.
