Everyone tried to tell you. He is not a good person.
We understood, you didn't need to tell us. But again, I gave him a fair shake coming in, and he hasn't worked out. Time to go, with sanctions ending after next recruiting season, we're ready for change.

...and this recruiting class only matters if Kiffin isn't there to coach it.

We've all seen what he can do with 4 and 5 star recruits this past year.

I used to follow recruiting - and that was the one thing I believed Kiffin would be valuable during this sanction period.

Now that doesn't even matter.

I'm actually at the point where I'm rooting for USCw...I'm talking post-Kiffykins USCw...to get back.

I was anti-Trojan when they were thumbing their nose at the the rest of us and looking like they were gonna skate. And I have always been anti-Kiffykins and his partners-in-crime.

That's all done with. Haden is as upright and honorable of an AD as you'll find anywhere. Here's hoping the next USC coach will be his equal in integrity, and he can take them back to competing for championships.

Is there word on the Nico Fallah kid from Trojan fans. I don't want the kid to go to UW. UDUB would be competitive with some OLINE talent. They need some to go with all those pretty skill players.

Falah is one of the few who signed with USC.

Shaw is OK but he is a Stanford man. Not going anywhere, IMHO and why should he? Their O line in the next few years will be better than Obama's.
Edit: *Bama's
Damned autocorrect.

Shaw is definitely not the right guy at USC. LA is a city of glitz and glamor, so getting the right fit is key.

Usc"s class fell apart at the seams from what it once was

We lost 4 guys, because they either decomitted, or flat out lied about their intentions.

So we got 13/17. The 13 we got are quality guys, but there just aren't enough bodies. Sanctions are killing us, like we knew they would.

The polarity of expectations is completely the opposite from what it was at the beginning of last season though, so it's actually a much more positive situation from that perspective. Last season, the media blew expectations unrealistically out of proportion. The results were awful. This season, the media expect nothing from us, the fans expect very little, and I believe the team will exceed those expectations handily. It's much better that way.

Yes, it was the media creating those expectations. Not like there weren’t USC fans hyping up the team either.

This class is a disaster, but it’s a good disaster, because it gets USC one step closer to firing Kiffin. The bad news is that UCLA is finally getting out of their own way and actually bringing in good talent to compete with USC, so by the time USC finally fires Kiffin, they might have to deal with a surprisingly competent crosstown rival.

Don’t underestimate the decline of UCLA’s effect on the rise of the USC last decade. Having your choice of Southern Cal talent with no competition helped a lot. I doubt USC will be down for too long, but it is nice to see Kiffin fail spectacularly. I really hate that guy.
