They are no joke. Put them down for the BCS championship game. They WILL NOT lose a game this year.

They deserve to be in it....but will they?

USC is good to trip up somewhere

This is the SEC rant, so you must be talking about South Carolina.

I do not think they will this year.

You can be sure that the BCS big shots will work their arse off to not match them up against an SEC Champion!

I think it finally happens this year.

Maybe so. But as of right now, I think they would handily beat anyone in the SEC. All of the big teams in the SEC have some kinks to work out.

Oklahoma is looking pretty stout this year as well. I know they've been choking every year, but this could end soon. Plus, Chase Daniel and Mizzou may pull something out. So far the SEC isn't blazing any trails out of the gait. We'll get better though.

No.
Not maybe so.
There are no "BCS big shots" in control of who goes and who doesn't.

Gimmie a break.
Who would beat them? LSU? I'd love to think so...but not after watching our QBs struggle against the N.Texas defense.
UGA? Not as of today. Maybe in a few weeks.
UF? Probably the best chance, but even they are not looking as balanced as they should this year.
AU? No.
Anyone else?
Keep in mind, I'm just talking about RIGHT NOW. Hopefully, LSU will gel and will give anyone an arse pounding by the end of the year.

Perhaps you should see where posts are directed before typing up rebuttals to them.

My apologies.

Two words...Petey Carroll. History says otherwise being that he is a VERY overrated HC and a TWO-TIME NFL failure!

They have a great team, but Ohio was WAAAAYYYY over rated. If USC does run the table this year though, they deserve to be in it. Even if they lose one game, I think they are good enough to get in.

Arguments of media/ESPN bias and PAC-10 weakness aside, no team is playing better right now - against legitimate competition, mind you - or has more studs in the skill positions than the Trojans.
And it's not even close.
And it's not even close.

Florida is close. Very close.
LSU is also close, except for QB.
Our biggest enemy this season is going to be the
always dangerous cocktail of complacency, injuries and plain old bad luck.
If we can get past those, I like our chances for the BCS title game.

I agree...but neither LSU or Florida have played the competition SC has so far this year.
