His dealing for Beadford is the only stupid offseason move he made.

Haden is tied to Sark because it was his terrible hire. He will keep Seven Win as long as he can and run the program into the ground. Haden is the ultimate problem and appears to be untouchable. He's been a terrible AD.

The president of the university gives zero fricks about football. You get the feeling he'd rather USC not have it. All Nikias cares about is raising money and academic rankings. He seems to love Haden.

When does Chip's show cause go away? I don't think any big program will touch him until then.

Chip & Oregon mutually agreed at the end that it was time for him to leave. He was not well liked at all by the big money folks as he detested sucking up to them. He was a PR disaster everytime he was around those boosters. The administration grew tired too, much like LSU did with Saban,of the constant rumors of him going to the pros & subsequently using that threat as leverage to get more control. He is weird personally, too, as beyond not being married, he lived & breathed & died over only one thing: football. He had no social life, had almost literally no social skills. Most how know him say he will never go back to college, at least according to NFL insiders.

, as beyond not being married,

he was married and got divorced in 1999.

not sure why that would be held against him as a coach.

Does Chip still have a show cause hearing?

Also did he burn his Texas connections? I think Texas has to get a guy who knows the UIL, has Texas roots/connections, and understands the Big XII.

Texas is a regional school when it comes to recruiting that has national appeal.

Chip at Texas would be bad for the rest of the B12 considering the level of athlete in that state and the system that most of the bigger high schools run prepares them perfectly. I'm not sure if his issues with big money boosters would work there though. At this point, they may not give a shite if he's Mr. Personality or a complete hermit as long as he wins.

That being said, the UT board made an official statement the other day that they fully support Strong and that he's in no danger of going anywhere after the season (which is a good move IMO). That program needs stability and a good character guy to get them in the right place or else they'll keep sliding, it just going to take some time.

I can't see Chip Kelly at USC for some reason, and I REALLY can't see Chip Kelly at Texas, so I really dont think he'll be at either place.

considering every other school in the state of texas runs some form of the spread/hurry up, i can easily see chip there.

The Sark hire never made sense at all.

It was a safe hire. When schools make safe hires, they end up sucking major major dick on the field.
