So I'm trying to put together a video for a 4th of July party I'm hosting with videos/pics of great American sports moments/heroes.
Got several obvious ones like Miracle on Ice, Donovan's goal, Jesse Owens, Strugg's vault, Spitz, Phelps, Ali lighting the torch etc...
Anybody got any suggestions?

I would do a sort of "where are they now?" Featuring great American athletes . Start with Bruce Jenner, would be very motivating

If you can find it the Kirkland, WA celebration after beating Taiwan in LLWS.
You can possibly add the 2000 Olympic baseball celebration. Lasorda and crew had no business winning that Gold.

Well, they did have a couple of future MLB All-Stars in Oswalt and Sheets as their lead pitchers. Sheets threw a complete game three-hitter to win the Gold. They wouldn't have beaten Cuba in a a series but it's not so shocking they won a one-off like that.

At the time they weren't even considered a medalist contender. Everyone was like who are these guys. Mienkiwictz (I butchered his name) was the star. I think there's only been 5 Americans to win the Gold and World Series.
