Draw.

No fans, No Rafa, no Fed. Can someone under 30 please win a major? Are more than five guys even physically capable of playing two weeks of 3 out of 5 sets?

Courts appear to be speedy with the new Laykold, although we don't yet know about Ashe and Armstrong because they aren't being used this week.

Brad Gilbert said 30 women can win their field.

Should be a fun fortnight as long as the COVID bubble doesn't bust.

The Field. Just because he seems to be talking about off court things more than normal.

Decided to do my running parlay for Novak, but with a twist. I’m gonna take him to win 3-0 every match.

First bet -472 (Bookmaker) vs. Dzumhur. $100 to win $21.19.

ETA: For MV, since you like free money...

BetOnline has a bet that there will NOT be an unseeded finalist on the men's side for -500. The only (very slim) possibilities are Murray and Cilic imo.

I will say this, media is doing their best to make it about everything but actual tennis with Novak.

The Rafa/Roger response today to the proposed players association is already being lapped up as a target against him.

They've already made Kyrgios into a hero for his statements on Novak and his Adria tour.

Again, this is something that would never happen to Roger or Rafa, and it's been happening for years now.

They know, sense, and feel the threat of him catching, overtaking, and possibly running away from these 2 in the Grand Slam discussions that he's going to be villainized for doing so.

It's never been about actual tennis when it comes to comparing the big 3.

Benny P tested positive in the bubble and is out for the tournament. This is not good on the eve of the beginning of play.

Roger or Rafa would never have hosted a tournament in the midst of a pandemic lol. You can complain about the 'media treatment' and perception of Djokovic over the years, that fans have not been generous enough towards him for various reasons, etc. But don't pretend that his decision to hold a tournament in early June with fans and to bring players from different regions together to play and go to parties was an okay idea -- and that it is simply not deserving of any criticism. Of course he is going to catch some flak when half of the players including himself got covid.

Honestly I think he likely wins this tournament easily. Perhaps Thiem, Raonic, or Medvedev could pose some problems for him. But that's about it.

Then what happened to them?

And it was only 3 players and 2 coaches.
