Lanier doesn't like the Williams sisters. Serena has pulled some petulant child stuff throughout her career, so I get that. But, Venus has always seemed like a class act. She had some legitimate medical problems, I think a weird autoimmune disease.

Ha, I've always thought Jack must have bad footwork or something. It might just be that he spends so much time running around the backhand that it's an impediment to his game.

I thought she seemed really cool at first. She is just going a little overboard with the social justice stuff. She volunteered to tank her semi last week and got bailed out by the tournament pushing things back a day. She has a new mask for every match this tournament in honor of dead people.

So, Mladenovic apparently had an epic melt. Up 6-1, 5-1, had four match points at 5-2 and lost.
She played cards with Benny P, so they tested her every day (over 30 times total) and she was confined to her hotel room.
