MURFREESBORO — Add Oakland High School to the University of Michigan's growing list of satellite football camp sites.

Oakland coach Kevin Creasy told The Daily News Journal that the Wolverines' entire coaching staff will hold a satellite camp on the Murfreesboro school's campus on June 14.

"It will be a true football camp," Creasy said. "They will coach up the players, just like they are coaching up players at Michigan.

"It's a great opportunity to be coached by some of the best coaches around."

Dumb. You cannot play football on a satellite. Too small.

It's strange that there seem to be big time prospects at the schools he's hosting camps at. I wonder why.

Cost is $60 for the camp.

But how will the athletes buy their next pair of Jordans?

Tennessee's in-state crop is rarely very good. Seems like there are better places to spend your time, even with the Stevens kid there.

Reconnaissance Office's Director Bruce Carlson, NRO LR-32 is indeed "the largest satellite in the world." The NRO is dedicated to the design, manufacturing, and operation of all the United States reconnaissance satellites. No official information has been published, but it "is believed to be an eavesdropping satellite positioned high above the equator in geosynchronous orbit" with a antenna the size of a football field once it's extended in orbit.

Well isnt that convenient.

Big Ten spying on all the southern football programs with that thing. Well, except Aggie who puts all their recruiting chatter out on Twitter.

Bad news

Butch could have his thugs beat down those coaches and especially their wives.

Isn't Tenn one of the less football talented states in the south?

From the Article:

'Michigan already has 14 satellite camps scheduled according to The Detroit Free Press, including camps on June 13 in Addison, Texas and two on June 15 in Pittsburg, Kan. and Kansas City, Mo.'

Michigan is going to have like 50 of these a year

How will he find the underpriveledged diamonds in the rough if he is charging 60 bucks?

You mean that was a lie?

I was responding to someone saying Tenn. isn't a talent rich state. If Harbaugh does 50 of them, he will be able to hit all the talent rich states

There is no way Michigan will have better recruiting classes than OSU while Meyer is around, so no I'm not 'uncomfortable'.

What makes you so sure of this?

Sounds eerily similar to LSU fans saying the same about Saban in '06

Usually about 10 SEC players per year.

Much more talent than MO, SC, AR, KY, etc.

Has been about equal to MS since 2010 or so.

A lot of very talented in state players on Tennessee's roster right now.
