in September this promotion will be 5 games for $25
Posted on 7/9/16 at 12:33 pm to LSU Tiger Eyes
why the hell would you get the FSU game on a $10 a ticket game plan?

Whats gonna be the outlook on Miami this year? Really liked the Richt hire, seems to fit perfectly

What are the 5 games?
It looks like FAMU, FAU, UNC, ?, and Duke

If it gets people to go who normally wouldn't, it's a good promotion.

What? They have an attendance problem and they're trying to get people interested. Why is this funny?

That's what I'm saying. They have an attendance problem, at least they're acknowledging it and trying to do something about it.

It's just crazy that a program that's won several national championships over the last 30 years has to do that to get people to come. Miami is a strange program

Is it a prerequisite for every Ole Miss fan here to be a goddamned shitshow?
You guys were averaging like 30K in 2011 and about the same with Orgeron in your on-campus stadium.
People can trash Miami all they want, but it's a small, private school with a football stadium about an hour north of campus and they really are in a tough spot.

And I think they made the single best hire this year. I think Richt is their guy.

I went to Miami FSU in 2014.
Miami fans that show up are mostly undesirable.
The program all and all is bizarre. Their band has maybe 15 people in it.
Of course FSU brought like 3 times as big a band for the game in Miami.
No one really gives a shite and as everyone knows, the stadium is like 45 minutes from campus.

Costs as much to park as it does to attend the game

Typical dumb arse response.

Oddly enough, Miami does have a national following. Mostly 30 plus crowd. Usually when I travel I see people in UM gear at airports.

I don't see why their attendance problem is surprising. I also think this plan is a good idea just to get locals in the stands, sell more concessions, and avoid those kick off time twitter photos we have grown accustomed to.
Miami is a private school with an undergraduate student body of less than 11,000, add in the problem that 48% of students are out of state. I would assume that their alumni base isn't heavily concentrated in one place (though I haven't seen these numbers).

Most Miami fans could never get into UM
Hell, none of their football players would either
