ULM over 10K tickets sold

Not bad with a week to go and the fact the seats they have are not good at all. I've already heard from some that saw the seats the school was had and decided to buy their tickets through the bowl itself. Wish it was on the weekend but I'll be making the trip.

To be fair ULM is selling them for $47 and you can buy them for $25 or cheaper elsewhere. There will be a lot more than 10K at the game. That being said, I'd be willing to bet that it will indeed be less than the 34K that were at the WM vs Evangel game in Indy in 2001. Only time WM beat Evangel btw.

I'm a ULM grad and can say without a doubt how disappointing these sales are. The ULL game tomorrow will have over 50k in the Superdome and ULM can't sell more than 10k weeks after accepting an invitation?

First of all, no way ULL has 50,000 for an 11am kickoff. ULM sales are indeed disappointing, this is their first time in a bowl & there's a shitload of old NLU grads around here. Though most people (even on a good year) get their tix for free anyway. Tech still gets most of the blame here but the IBowl committee royally screwed the pooch by not waiting on Tech.
