I'm from BR and graduated from ULL, couldn't believe all the hate on LSU when I moved here. I don't understand why ppl just can't be happy for Louisiana teams in general....o and as far as living in both cities....Lafayette>>>>>BR

All this LSU-UL pissing match aside, thats was a really fun game. SDSU definitely had the better talent but the Cajuns came to play, Hudspeth made so good aggressive calls and the team certainly played with heart, and the kicker certainly redeemed himself. It was also nice to see the dome with a pretty good crowd. 42K for that game is pretty solid. Congrats to the Cajuns for a great win.

It was an amazing game for a school's first bowl. The Cajuns gave the NO Bowl a great crowd and packed the Quarter and Bourbon well into the morning. Not sure how anyone would see this as anything but a great thing.

Did you even go to LSU? One of the things I think is funny on this board, is the amount of LSU fans that get on here and use words like we and us, when talking about the program. I bet over half of them never set foot into a classroom at LSU.

Since when do you need a sensible reason to have a parade in southern Louisiana? It's there best football season in the history of the school. Why not celebrate?

This will be the best year in the history of Louisiana college football if Tech beats TCU and LSU wins the MNC. Grambling won the SWAC. All that was missing was McNeese or NSU taking the Southland, but then again SHSU is probably winning the national title so that was a tall order. ULL could have won their conference, I guess.

How so? We were better and faster in all the skill positions, and had a better kicker. I was impressed with their QB's zip and the protection their offensive line showed. But watching the game in person and again on tv last night I did not see a more talented team on the other sideline. We dominated most of the game.

Not to mention we looked 3x as fast as they did.

The difference in aggression and passion (on ULL's part) was more noticeable than any difference in talent either way IMO.

All of the schools in Louisiana should be celebrated. I hope La Tech beats TCU. All of that is good for our state. If Mcneese or one of the FCS schools were to win a FCS National Championship, I would be happy about that. Everyone knows LSU is an Elite program as it should be, it doesn't take away from what The Cajuns did this season. Congrats to the Cajuns on a great win Saturday night!

I don't think they had better talent to be honest. Our skill position guys were bigger, stronger, faster, and more athletic. Our defense was too fast for their 1700 yard rusher to get anything going (without our best OLB playing).

This was another case of southern speed winning out.

I saw SDSU fans that said we were a more talented team.

Talent up front was pretty even but our skill players were much faster.

I can agree with this. Either way, SDSU is a solid team. They never gave up and play hard. I think we beat a quality opponent

We jokingly booed an SDSU fan around Harrah's and he started laughing and told me to watch out for Ronnie Hillman, I told him not to worry because the Botanist* would take care of him. He didn't even play and we still dominated Hillman.

I confused Chris Kaman by knowing who he is. I may have made his day. I wish we could keep him around. His awesome beard and black eye made me a fan.
