I haven't seen any news break on the ESPN ticker yet, so the search must still be ongoing.

Glad you could chime in douche

Palermo is a local assistant who just finished bringing LOHS to the state finals and has a nice resume.

He will be getting looks for head positions soon

I had heard about the current assistant & that being who Broussard wanted but since they opened it up I don't think he is getting it

Uhigh baseball job quote: Dan Canevari He is coaching high school now?!?! He went from pitching coach at LSU to that?

And I don't think he's a very good HS coach either

Palermo was runner up for the Catholic job so I would say he has a chance. Its all about teaching positions at U high. Not the easiest place to teach so they may have to hire someone certified in more than PE. Thats where someone like Palermo has a chance. They aren't hiring a baseball coach that won't teach.

Think Tookie Johnson from Runnels would move over? He has done a hell of a job at that small school. Pretty sure he has won a few state titles there huh?

Broussard was a PE coach as well, but I don't know if he's retiring from that too

might not be a bad move since he turned his back on the two people that got him the CHS job. The tension is mounting.

I guess Bass should have worried less about winning that state championship and more about kissing arse?
