no way. Probably 2 title fights. No way there's more than 3 title fights.

No point in building up 200 to be great if 198, 199, 201, & 202 are going to absolutely suck.

UFC 198 is tenatively scheduled for MSG; so Jon Jones vs someone there.. 199 would be Ireland contingent on Conor; the other I think is tenative for Brazil.. Cain vs Werdum is going to be on one of those cards between 196-199.. UFC 200 was almost surely going to be Rousey-Cyborg; will probably be Rousey-Holm & potential return of GSP and/or Diaz

I will do a ban bet with you that there will be more than 2 title fights. There are 10 weight classes now. DJ might defend his title in the opening fight on the main card. His PPV's don't sell anyway, even though he is one of the most exciting fighters in the UFC. I'm gonna guess 4 Title fights, Dana is going to go big on this one pushing for 2 million buys.

I don't think Rousey fights again. I think she is finished.

If by some chance she does fight, she needs a warm-up against a less formidable striker than Holly Holm. She is quite simply not in the same league as Holm right now as a fighter.

If they fought again in the next 6 months, it will be the same outcome. She will get beat up badly. That leaves her entire reputation and legacy in shambles.

DJ is a turnoff on PPV; he's not sniffing the 200 card.

like when she quit doing judo after she didn't win in her first Olympics?

No way her pride and drive and 10 million dollars lets her turn down a rematch

Not as a headliner. But the opening fight in a 6 fight main card would be awesome.

I mean, I guess it's possible there possibly could be 3....maybe. But I highly doubt there will be more than 3 like you said. 4+ title fights and the PPV won't get over until 5:00am

I want to see jones vs rumble. The issue is will he fight someone else before cormier, i doubt it.

By the looks of him from a picture he posted on Instagram yesterday, it looks like he could fight a heavyweight fight before the DC rematch. He looks huge muscular wise.

It's not serious to me, I don't post enough. I got r/mma as a backup anyway.

Hadn't thought about the time aspect. I guess the gamble would be that every one wouldn't go the distance.

At this minute, I would say Connor is a bigger star than GSP.

Well yeah because GSP is retired but a GSP comeback is bigger than a Conner fight.

Jones vs Cormier is most likely going to be UFC 196 Cormier has already talked about it.

197 is supposed to be in Brazil. Werdum title defense is most likely

198 in New York is where Holm's first defense makes the most sense. A possibility for Weidman vs Jacare and Aldo vs Edgar

199 is a wildcard cause we don't know where its gonna be but it could be which ever one of Holm or Weidman doesn't happen in NY. But I would bet on it being Dillashaw or DJ or Joanna

Injuries could obviously make all this useless but that is the way things are setting up. I just hope they hold Weidman off and they make the superfight for UFC 200.

So the Aldo/McGregor overexposure earlier this year has kinda this upcoming fight ho-hum as almost every dang main event the last 2 years has been delayed or scrapped.

DJ, Joanna or Dillashaw being on the card will have absolutely no effect on the buys. It makes far more sense to push Sage Northcutt, Paige Vanzant + a big Brazilian name to add that audience.

Rockhold is taking that belt in a couple weeks.

Dillashaw will not have a belt in a few weeks from now. Sage and Paige have no crossover appeal yet. Only current mma fans know who they even are (they will eventually if they both keep winning). Rousey, Connor, GSP and attract people who would otherwise have no interest in fights or purchasing a PPV. CM Punk would be humongous for crossover buys if he would be ready.

Glass Dom isn't going to last 5 rounds. It's going to take 5 rounds to get Dillashaw tired enough to catch him.

Dominator is a beast. TJ got to play champ a little while while the king was gone.

How? They are basically the same fighter except Weidman is more athletic and more experinced

Rockhold is a better striker. He also has better jiu jitsu and is the bigger fighter.

Weidman is a better wrestler, has a good chin, and is tough as hell.

Not sure who has the better gas tank, as that is what might determine this fight.

I just see Rockhold keeping the distance and out striking Weidman. He's quicker and longer (no homo)....his kicks are brutal.

I disagree with this. Rockhold is more athletic, quicker, and much more explosive. Weidman is one of the slower MWs.
