What really sucks, is that I brought this idea up a year and a half ago

I'm sure they had thought about it, but we had serious discussion about this event in front of everyone in Vegas in November of 09
Melvin, pat Barry, and crazy tim all got involved along with myself, dana, and Lorenzo Fertitta in everything from possible sites to host the event, proximity of hotels to event, to the guys from the region we could stick on the card

Lorenzo even said "and we can easily bring Rich (Clementi) right back for this." Me, Rich, Melvin, tim, pat, Alan Belcher and Yves Edwards were names kicked around for that card

Now I'm out :-( I know I can get back in with a winning streak, but never in time for this card

I heard there will be very very few tickets sold to this (2000ish) because Coke and Budwiser bought all the tickets for their employees

I think the Bud Light advertisement for the "Battle on the Bayou" mentions sending 4000 fans to the event.

ETA: Just saw this "Winner required to pay $760.00 for winner and (2) two or (3) guests or $380.00 for winner and (1) guest or for winner only.

What exactly is it that you "win"???

TUF winners almost always get 2-3 "easy" opponents to start them off

Koch should be the favorite over Brookins.. 4-1 in Zuffa, his only lost is to Chad Mendes

I'm a fight club member and have inside sources at Budweiser, so I should be alright.. UFC is having a much bigger show 3 weeks later in Houston anyway.

Went to the weigh-ins yesterday. Damn good turnout. Bud Light is putting on a hell of a party.

Got a chance to speak with Mark Munoz Thursday night. Very nice guy. I hope he does well. He is heading up UFC 138 against Leben.
Met Matt Metrione(sp) , Rashad NAILED it. Meathead is the only thing that comes to mind when talking to this guy. I watched him eat about a dozen crab cakes and everything else in sight!

Talked to the main PR guy for Canada and he said Nick Diaz missed not 2 press conferences but 3. No call, no email no anything saying he couldn't make it. He's lucky to be in the UFC right now

My buddy called me with floor seats today, so I'm in the building. The amount of affliction and hair gell is amazing.

I'm rocking a polo small horse shirt with sperrys, it's unusual to be the non conformist. Repping section 4 tho!

Watching on facebook. Evan Dunham brings it! Shamar Bailey looked much improved from TUF even though he got his arse handed to him. He took a lot of punishment.
