I've never - not once - seen it happen to a player on the PGA Tour, and I've been watching golf for 20 years. Are you telling me Tiger's the only pro golfer in 20 years to tweak his back on TV?
There are different levels of pain. Not everybody has the same back trouble.

Secondly, how many people have had bad back trouble during a tournament? I'm guessing the list is pretty small.

And if people have back trouble, they do things to try to lessen the pain before they play. Or they might drop out.

I mean, how many golfers do you see play injured anyway? That hardly ever happens. And then for that injury to be their back? And then on top of that for them to also tweak it during the actual tournament?

They hardly ever embellish it as much as Eldrick, but golfers play hurt all the time.

Couples for one ... I have never seen him hit the deck before

and I will bet big money that he has/had worse back issues than Tiger

ETA: Ken Duke who won this year on tour DEFINITELY has more back trouble than Tiger but I am not seeing him flopping around like crazy on the course

You named ONE guy.

And he has been known for his back trouble.

You named the exception.

They don't talk about it. They don't fall to the ground after swings. So it's kinda hard to tell which ones are hurt. Except, of course, for Tiger - the only golfer who ever plays hurt IYO.

Stand outside the trailers that follow the Tour. One's a fitness trailer and the other's a physical therapy trailer. I guarantee you the majority of the ones coming out of the fitness trailer are experiencing some form of back problem.

If they don't talk about it, then how do you know?

Answer: You don't. You are making shite up.

Like someone already said in this thread, no one knows how bad his back is anyway.

He played 5 rounds of a major with a torn ACL and multiple leg fractures. How many of you badasses would have done that?

ETA: For people that don't like Tiger he's damned if he says he hurt because you'll just say hes making excuses or damned if he doesn't and grimaces while on the course because you think hes faking it.

His reaction suggests that it's the worst back injury/tweak in the past 20+ years of golf on TV. Because no one has reacted that severely to a back injury in that time period.

He didn't just grimace. He went to ground. . . And I don't think he was faking. I think he exaggerated a real injury.

Regardless, but, if you haven't caught on to Tiger's BS by now then I don't know what to tell you
