I think the most shocking part is that the upper appears to be leather instead of primeknit.

Then I'll return mine. When the hardens hit the stores I'll get a pair I don't care what they look like.

Doubt they are anymore. They will scrap these due to the reception they are getting and go in a different direction.

The Adidas marketing guys are better than you think, if it were just a "regular" shoe, no one is talking about it. It will look better in different colorways. They did the same thing with Wiggins shoe the Crazy Explosive, went with a different "bold" design, got roasted on the internet and now it is highly regarded in all performance reviews and will be a popular shoe this season... Also the Under Armour Curry Chefs (Dad Shoes) which got hammered with memes are his best selling colorways.

It got roasted because it's ugly, not because it is a bad basketball shoes with regards to performance.

It may be a popular shoe this season among competitive basketball players to wear on the court, it won't be popular at all for casual wear.

This is just false. The shoe did surprisingly well, given the negative social media backlash at release. But in no way is it the best selling colorway of the Curry 2 low.

This year my teams are AZ and SEA. I don't have a one team that I pull for each season in NFL

I want them both to do well. When they play each other I usually pull for the team with the worse record.
