They should throw their practice jerseys at mid field before the game in solidarity. And then say they aren't going to play until he quits but play anyway.

I think one more Super Bowl would do it. You also have to take into consideration the situation he (and Brees) walked into after Katrina and the Saints history. To win a couple SBs in the decade after that is quite the accomplishment.
Lo and behold, Fuhrer Goodell took away one of his best shots in 2012. I still believe he gets it done though

I am still perplexed by the reactions
I like Aikman, but dang man, what do Saints fans feel was a fair punishment?
I think I would take another 40 million from the NFL and then sail off into the sunset and let someone else have this train wreck of a job.

suspend greg williams, but not an entire season for the HC.
especially not when every single game is officiated on the field, as well as every single game is reviewed post-game for illegal hits/fines.. and the Saints never had anything out of the norm here. the saints weren't doing anything illegal ON the field whatsoever where it matters most. not any more than any other team. it was a ridiculously harsh punishment. 2 years of #2's removed? yeah okay..

Honestly, I don't think Payton gives two fricks at this point. He tends not to pay too much attention to anything but the next game.

I wouldn't mind one bit if the players protested and threatened not to play on Sunday if Goodell doesn't resign by then. That POS is the biggest hypocrite ever, yea, we care about player safety, play a division game on 3 days rest.

Most of them probably don't care enough, and they'd all be forfeiting a game check.
1 NBA game check is a lot less than 1 NFL game check.
