Yep. I was hoping Tech would sign him back when they picked Holtz instead. He has made every program he has coached better. I think he gets a power 5 spot at some point.

He's 60, and while he's done well at slowly building Tulane his overall record is 29-32 pending any bowl games.
The trendlines are up, but this is not a situation where he is 45 and has 15-20 more in the tank.
He just signed a long extension this year. I just don't see it as long as there are "flavor of the month" hires at the G5 level.

I dunno. He wouldn't get a call from a big time school but I think there are some potential fits. IMO a school like Vanderbilt would be smart to try him out. They gave Derek Mason 7 years so I don't think it would be crazy for them to give Fritz a 5 year deal and hope for the best.
