Greenies bowl eligible for the 3rd year in a row

Willie Fritz will probably be mentioned in some coaching searches you would think

I forgot this is the everyone gets a trophy year.

I should have said 3 straight winning seasons at Tulane. They should erect a gold statue of Fritz outside their stadium

And with a good freshman QB, better seasons could be coming soon.

I watched the entire fourth quarter-onward of that game and still have no real idea how Tulane lost to Tulsa.

Fritz just signed a long term deal at Tulane until retirement age. This is his level when you look at his just above .500 record.

That was truly an impressive melt as was the Navy game. Other than that Tulane seems like a pretty good team when they can keep it together for 4 quarters.

It's a no win situation for LSU. If Tulane wins, then we are going to take the rag and never play you again LOL.

Does the rag even exist anymore? I thought ya'll stole it from its permanent home behind that glass window in the LSU Union a long time ago.

True.

You guys (not you in particular, perhaps, but the Tulane baws here) have kicked us around two out of three years now.

Granted 2020 is a bit of a wash, but still. Good game.

I found this about the tiger rag

LINK

quote:

The original flag was created in 1940 to foster good sportsmanship, most likely in response to growing tension between fans of the two teams that eventually escalated into a riot after Tulane's victory in 1938. It is believed that this flag was destroyed in a 1982 fire at Tulane's University Center. In 2001, LSU and Tulane worked together to create a reconstruction of the rag based upon archived photographs.

9-2 is a stretch. Tulane should rightfully be 8-3. cannot believe they lost the Tulsa game but the Navy game was worse. Pratt played at a legit Miami HS and did not have the spotlight because his whole team went to D1. he is really good.

LSU is, obviously, having a forgettable year but not so bad for other teams from the state.

Didn't he sign a new contract a few weeks ago? I wonder what kind of exit clause they put in it.
