If I'm not mistaken that game was played in the middle of a hurricane. The one where fla cancelled.

The unders in the state of North Carolina (nc st-nd, duke army, unc vt) were the easiest money I made all football season

Why do people give a crap when a team they have no interest in screws up?

I don't care about the Bears. Ever. Are you a Bears fan OP?

That lil 5'8 ball of hate made Mitch into a top pick. Many called him the best route runner in the draft. Caught 85% of his targets. White boy can run too

Virginia Tech football blows past North Carolina in a deluge

quote:

Driving rain, 18-mph winds and North Carolina’s offense all proved to be nothing more than a nuisance for the surging Virginia Tech Hokies, playing on the outskirts of Hurricane Matthew on Saturday.

quote:

Heavy rain made the football hard to handle and handicapped both teams’ usually effective passing games. Virginia Tech managed just 75 yards through the air to North Carolina’s 58.

quote:

The Hokies gained a season-low 264 yards and fumbled seven times, losing two.

I understand the questions about Trubisky going so high, but the Virginia Tech game might be the worst possible example to use against him.

Judging a player on one game is stupid. At any level.

Watching any games that day in the state of North Carolina was like watching a bunch of middle schoolers play outside after school during a thunderstorm, and no player should be judged on their performance that day. It was so fun to watch though (well unless your team ended up losing).

Typical poster trying too hard to be an expert and posting something they know nothing about. Guarantee the OP just looked up Trubisky's stats, saw the numbers listed, and had no idea that it was in a Hurricane that kept eastern NC schools closed for weeks due to fatal flooding.

That entire game was garbage. There were like 10 fumbles and 11 punts.

It was played in a downpour.
