Even though they mysteriously phased out the mascot years ago, the yeti is already associated with the Avalanche. I think their fans still prefer it to the stupid St. Bernard they have now. I'm sure they or the NHL wouldn't let SLC use it.

Antelope Canyon is in Arizona. Antelope Island is near SLC though.
