Yeah Contador is out.

Anticlimactic.

Might not have any big names at this rate. Hope Tejay can somehow get on the podium.

The Tour is becoming very anticlimatic now.

The small hope is that a couple of teams like Garmin, Lotto, FDJ and BMC just say frick it and try to absolutely blow up a stage or two (like last year when Dan Martin won the stage).

But in reality I can see Valverde and Porte riding to protect their podium position, and Nibali winning by 3-4 minutes.

TJ looked very good today, if the TT was pan flat I would say he's a lock for top 5 now but its got a couple of climbs so his advantage is lessened a little bit.

On the plus side after Purito said he was going for KoM I backed him(admittedly at evens) but nice to see I will be doubling my money in 2 weeks

There seems to be some controversy surrounding ACs crash. Pics have surfaced of his bike broken in half. Specialized is trying to say the bike was run over after he went down. If you look at the bike, there is only frame damage and no damage to any of the other parts. Hmm!

I've broken wheels, bars, forks, etc. but I've never had a frame failure like the one in the pic.

The rest of the Tour is going to suck. No big firepower left in the mountains.

i would love to see chris horner get some support and go off on one of the upcoming mountain stages. but i guess he is riding for rui costa?

I actually think Astana is in worse shape because of their effort on stage 9. They let more guys back in the race and got the yellow jersey right back. Now instead of having to worry about 4 or 5 guys, they have 10 or so guys that are within a reasonable 4 minutes or so. Nibali is the strongest of all of those guys, but that's an awful lot of guys to mark. Stage 13 will show if anyone has the kick to put time on Nibali. However, the team will be pretty fresh and it will take a really bold effort to make an impact on that day. Stage 17 and 18 will be the first time I think we see Nibali actually having to fight for the jersey.

No running man cheers :(

Besides Tony Martin's absolutely monstrous day... Not really feeling this tour. Guys are dropping like flies and the yellow jersey doesn't seem like it's getting contested. I can only hope the TT spices things up the "last" day. Otherwise... It blows that all the big names are out.

Today's stage finish would have been a classic if all the big fish hadn't abandoned yet.

What happened today? Was the last climb finally a HC? I bet Nibali is juicing, no way he can smoke fools like he has earlier in the tour and still have his legs.

ETA: I sort of lost interest once Contador crashed out, tbh.

He's racing second-rate climbers at this point. He wouldn't be dominating Froome, Contador, or Nairo.

I certainly wouldn't be surprised if he was using AICAR of something similar though. He looks much skinnier than in the past.

This has been the first Tour that I have totally lost interest in since probably the Indurain run.

Since Contador went out, it's been extremely boring. It doesn't help that the Tour courses are terrible compared to the other Grand Tours, especially the Giro.
